Job

As most people know, I took a job teaching at Central High School in Tulsa back in October. While this has not been the easiest place to work, I have truly grown to love it there. When I took the job, I had a conflict with Jacob's school schedule and my schedule. My principal told me she would change my schedule at semester to give me last block off, so I could get Jacob from school. Well, I was informed Thursday that she is not changing my schedule which means that I have nothing to do with Jacob after school. I spent all day calling sitters and daycares, but no one has an opening after school for him. I went into talk to my principal on Friday, but I had to resign. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we go through this adjusting time again. I know God has a plan for us, but right now all I can see are bills and a mortgage payment. Also, keep my students in your prayers. These kids have really rough lives and have already been through two teachers this year and will now have to adjust to with a third teacher. Most of them do not adjust well, especially with authority figures.

That is most definitely a rough school. That's why I didn't go there when it was my time and ended up attending BTW. I'm so sorry to hear about the resignation though. We will keep you guys in our prayers.
